My Experience: Haunted Corn Maze! ♥

October brings us many great things. Sweater weather, hot apple cider, candy corn, trick or treating, scary movies… and haunted houses and corn mazes!

AHHHHH!

My family & I love haunted houses, haunted hayrides & haunted corn mazes. Something about being chased by a man in ghoulish makeup and a knife prop is so much fun! The adrenaline rush and sheer panic is what makes the experience.

Recently my family & I visited the Haunted Field of Screams in Thornton, Colorado.

This is a maze that I have been to for the past 6 years of Halloween frights. Unfortunately, compared to past years, it was not very good. The actors were way too young, they also talked too much which kills the scare factor. The props were too unrealistic. Overall this experience was a flop, in my opinion. The real fun was scaring my over-the-top screaming cousin, Ashley!

The corn was eery, as always.

Comment below any experiences you've had (good and bad) at a haunted corn maze!! -XOXO Jess

My Experience: International Travel! ♥

work for an airline, so traveling is no big deal to me. Packing is easy; traveling is even easier. Over the summer I traveled to the UK.

I flew on this monster (787 for my fellow airline geeks) and it was definitely an experience I had wanted to do! The aircraft was huge!

It's configuration is 3 seats, an aisle, then four seats, then another aisle, finally 3 more seats. That's a total of 10 seats in one row! Incredibly large airplane to say the least.

Traveling to another country is far from traveling within the country. I got lost a couple of times in the airport in London. Thankfully, there was another flight leaving 1 hour after my original flight which I totally missed by the way

Once I made it to Dublin, all my worries were set aside. I had made it to my final destination: the beautiful country of Ireland!

It was different from anything I had ever experienced. It was breathtakingly beautiful.

The castles, the greenery, even the pubs were magical! The Irish know how to live well!

Though I did not drive, my father drove, I could tell how difficult it was due to the fact that they drive opposite Americans. Driving was probably the most difficult thing about traveling international in my case because there was no language barrier. At times the Irish accent was hard to comprehend but locals were nice enough to repeat.
In short, on our trip to Ireland we:
•Saw the rock of Cashel
•Traveled around the Ring of Kerry
•Guinness beer factory tour
•Kilbeggan whiskey factory tour
•Jameson whiskey factory tour
•Cliffs of Mohr
•Dublin (traveled the city)
•Blarney Castle/Poison Garden
•Sean's bar in Galway

My favorite part was the castles! We don't have castles in Colorado like the castles I saw in Ireland!

I would love to travel back to Ireland to see more of its beauty. In fact, I'd like to travel around the UK a bit more.

I'm going to add a few more photos from my trip. 😊
 WILD SHAMROCKS!!
What's next on my list of travels you ask?

•Scotland
•Italy
•London
•Switzerland
•Germany
•Peru
•Hong Kong
•New Zealand
•Australia
•Egypt
•Cancun
•Belgium
•Spain

Not in any particular order and not nearly all the places I would like to visit! I do intend to travel the world though… eventually. :)💕

FOTD: Face Of The Day!

Happy October, everyone!
It seems as though September has flown by without so much as a "hello."

But I shan't dwell on the past, its all about the present. I welcome October with open arms as fall is my favorite time of the year!

In celebration of October and fall time, I have done my makeup as a sort of transition from summer into fall! Yaaaaaaaaay!

To begin, I used Neutrogena SkinClearing Mineral Powder in Natural Ivory

Followed by NYX Mosaic Powder in Spice on my cheeks and temples

For eyes: Benefit's Watt's Up all over the lid and BHcosmetics "San Francisco" from the California Collection blended into the crease

I used a gel liner by Cailyn in Iron, its a beautiful granite/gray shade

Curled my lashes with a lash curler by Revlon and swept Benefit's They're Real on my lashes

Final touch: Lipstick by Mirabella in Posy

I can post a tutorial on YouTube if anyone wants, just let me know :)
Thanks for reading. -xoxo jess
